Azri Rahmati is a veterinarian-in-training, currently serving as an intern doctor with hands-on exposure to animal health and welfare. Her work and interests sit at the intersection of veterinary medicine, information technology, and design, which she brings together in her role as IT Coordinator of the One Health Youth Alliance Bangladesh (OHYAB). She sees animal health as closely linked to human and environmental health, and is drawn to the One Health approach as a way of connecting veterinary practice with public health and community wellbeing. Through her work with youth-led platforms, she aims to support meaningful engagement on issues such as antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic disease control, and the One Health approach, among other related public health concerns, using her veterinary background alongside her technical and creative skills to help build spaces where young people can learn, collaborate, and contribute to public health advocacy in Bangladesh.
Azri’s areas of interest span veterinary medicine, One Health advocacy, and information technology. She is proficient in tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, which she applies to support communication, design, and organizational work within youth-led health platforms.
