The One Health Youth Alliance Bangladesh (OHYAB) is an independent, non‑political, non‑governmental, non‑profit, and youth‑led organization within Bangladesh, dedicated to advancing the One Health approach among the youth of Bangladesh. We bring together students and early‑career professionals from diverse fields—human medicine, veterinary medicine, environmental science, public health, and beyond—to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, advocacy, and action.
The National One Health Youth Symposium in Bangladesh (NOHYSB) is a pioneering, youth-led initiative designed to empower undergraduate and early-career professionals to lead the integration of human, animal, and environmental health through the One Health approach. Launched as a response to the urgent need for interdisciplinary collaboration in tackling challenges like antimicrobial resistance (AMR), zoonotic diseases, food safety, and climate-linked health threats, NOHYSB serves as a dynamic platform for awareness, education, innovation, and leadership development.
