The One Health Youth Alliance Bangladesh (OHYAB), in collaboration with the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), is excited to share a first look at the preparations for the 3rd National One Health Youth Symposium in Bangladesh (NOHYSB).

Building on the incredible momentum of our past events, our upcoming symposium is shifting from academic discussion to direct grassroots impact. Moving forward under the tentative theme "Farm to the Future," this edition will place a special focus on farmer-centric youth engagement and practical field realities.

• Proposed Date: 25th July, 2026 (Subject to final confirmation)

• Proposed Venue: AIUB Auditorium (G Building), Dhaka, Bangladesh

• Expected Gathering: 250+ multidisciplinary students, young professionals, livestock producers, and public health experts.

🔍 Inside the Draft Program: What to Expect

While we are still polishing the final schedule, here is a sneak peek at the exciting, action-oriented segments currently planned for the draft agenda:

• Scientific Deep Dives: Interactive talks covering One Health governance, emerging zoonoses, and environmental health issues like microplastics in waterways.

• One Health Farmers' Engagement: A dedicated workshop bridging the gap between young professionals and livestock producers to look at real-world Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) mitigation.

• Rapid Fire Case Olympics: A fast-paced team competition where participants tackle real-life health crisis scenarios under tight clocks.

• Policy Pitch Battle: A 3-minute TED-style platform for youth teams to pitch actionable policy ideas on tackling AMR directly to expert panels.

• Scientific Presentations: Dedicated blocks for young researchers to showcase their work through oral and poster presentations.

We are designing this space for undergraduate students, young researchers, and early-career professionals spanning Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Environmental Science, Agriculture, and youth leadership networks.
